The purpose of this course is to aid providers who are counseling and assessing crisis intervention for their minority patient population ( LGBTQ ,immigrant, chronic illness, low SES). How to actually create thrive plans with patients who are in crisis with an looming threat of livelihood/well being. This training will be to review cases on how to transform crisis spiraling into preparedness; thus shifting helplessness to empowerment. This course will prepare participants to be: (1) gain confidence in intervention with targeted minorities from an political arena, (2) identify and formulate an treatment plan for Fear Brain pathways and symptoms of Looming Fear, (3) garner the ability in assessing, cope ahead and thrive plans Interventions, and (4) develop mastery toward self-reliance in treating folks who are an targeted political person.
