Condensed from the Original 2 hour training, This Training is to aid providers who are counseling and assessing crisis intervention for their minority patient population ( LGBTQ ,immigrant, chronic illness, low SES). How to actually create thrive plans with patients who are in crisis with an looming threat of livelihood/well being. This training will be to review cases on how to transform crisis spiraling into preparedness; thus shifting helplessness to empowerment. We will review particular fears in these targeted populations and how to shift that mindset to preparedness and empowerment. In this training you will garner the ability to capture the fear and bring it to compassion grasp giving an patient a road to cope ahead.
